Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

BarlyDev Tools is a private proprietary development-tools service with browser-based utilities and optional account and cloud-backed features. This policy explains what may stay in your browser, what may be sent to our backend, and what may be sent to destinations you choose.

2. How Data Is Processed

Many tools work locally in your browser, but not every feature is fully client-only.

  • For local-only tools, inputs may be processed directly on your device.
  • If you create an account, sign in, edit your profile, or change your password, related account data is sent to our backend API.
  • If you use saved results, collections, API workspaces, imports or exports, dashboards, or webhook inbox features, related data and metadata may be stored on our servers.
  • If you use API Tester or other network tools, data may be sent to external URLs or services that you configure.

3. Service Records and Analytics

We may keep operational logs and aggregated usage information needed to run the service and provide account features, including:

  • Authentication and session checks
  • Tool history, saved results, collections, and dashboard aggregates for signed-in users
  • Basic technical and request metadata needed for debugging, abuse prevention, and service reliability

We aim to keep this data limited to what is reasonably needed to operate and secure the service.

4. Cookies and Browser Storage

The app stores some values in cookies or browser storage, including:

  • Theme preference and language preference
  • Authentication token and basic session information for signed-in users
  • Recent items, favorites, dismissed prompts, and per-tool preferences stored in your browser

5. Third-Party and External Services

The app communicates with the BarlyDev backend API for account and cloud features. Some tools may also send data to third-party destinations you explicitly choose, such as external APIs or webhook endpoints. Avoid submitting sensitive data unless you understand where it will be sent and stored.

6. Your Choices

You can clear browser-stored data from your device at any time. If you have an account, you can update profile information, delete saved content where the product allows it, or request account deletion through the available account settings or by contacting us.
